Hi @Levon2330
Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP printer getting error B8157FFE, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.
Here are some steps you can take to resolve this error:
1. Check the Ink Cartridges
- Remove and Reseat the Cartridges:
- Clean the Cartridge Contacts: Gently clean the metal contacts on both the cartridges and the contact points inside the printer using a soft, lint-free cloth. Ink residue or dirt can sometimes cause communication issues.
2. Power Cycle and Reset the Printer
- Power Off and Unplug: Power off the printer and unplug it from the wall for at least 60 seconds. This will help reset any internal errors.
- Reboot: After waiting, plug the printer back in and power it on. Sometimes a hard reboot can clear temporary errors.
3. Perform a Printer Reset (Factory Reset)
- To reset the printer:
- On the printer’s control panel, press the Setup icon (gear icon).
- Navigate to Printer Maintenance or Restore Defaults.
- Select Restore Network Settings or Restore All Defaults (depending on what options are available).
- After resetting, try reconnecting the printer and reinstalling any necessary software or drivers.
4. Check for Firmware Updates
- HP Support Website: Visit HP’s official support site to download the latest firmware for the HP OfficeJet 9010. Click here
5. Check for Paper Jams
- Clear Any Obstructions:
- Check the Rear Paper Tray: Some printers have a rear access door or paper tray that can get blocked. Ensure that this area is clear.
6. Try Different Cartridges (if available)
I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
