HP DeskJet 4155e All-in-One Printer

error  message E with one blinking orange light. Problem since discontinuing instant ink. Inserted Amazon cartridges, then read somewhere HP ink required. Just inserted those. No change. Unplugged printer and wall plug. Nothing changed. Wish I had a Cannon. Please advise. I don't print that much, but need a working printer when I do

Hi @kukululu,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

If you have canceled instant ink and are unable to use HP regular cartridges, here's what you need to know & do:

If you have an instant ink cartridge on your printer, remove it and discard that, you can only use regular cartridges on your printer once you cancel the program.

That said, if you have trouble using regular cartridges, I recommend you turn off the web service using the steps from this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04808536

when done successfully, check if it works fine.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
