DeskJet 4133e. Recently changed wifi router, suddenly the printer will not connect eventhough I used to same wifi password. The i light flashing orange. Wifi light steady blue Screen has E0 flashing, there is ink in there. I got so frustrated that i could no longer print that I terminated my HP+ subscription. I reset the wifi, reset the printer and the lights will not go away. When setting up it connects to the wifi then says Unable to connect. Gives me an error code. ALl the links that HP provides are unhelpful. I cannot seem to reach a person and I really need to use this printer on a daily basis so this is really stressful. I've had HP printers in the past but I haven't had this much difficulty trying to reset it up again. I don't know what to do.

Hi @nonosquare,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see there is an issue with the printer after the cartridge replacement.
May I know if you can make copies?
May I know if are you using genuine HP ink cartridges? If yes, please follow the steps mentioned below.
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the new ink cartridge has enough ink. Some printers provide an option to check ink levels through the printer software or on the printer itself. Verify that the ink levels are sufficient.
Remove the Protective Tape: Double-check that you have removed any protective tape or seals from the new ink cartridge. These tapes are often placed on the contacts or nozzles of the cartridge and must be removed before installation.
Clean the Print Heads: Run a print head cleaning utility on your printer. This can often be done through the printer software on your computer or directly on the printer's control panel. Cleaning the print heads can resolve issues with clogged nozzles.
Align the Cartridges: Some printers have an alignment process that ensures the print heads are aligned correctly. Check your printer's manual for instructions on how to align the cartridges.
Check Printer Settings: Make sure that your printer settings are configured correctly. Ensure that you have selected the correct paper type and print quality settings. Sometimes, choosing a higher print quality may improve the output.
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. Visit the official HP website to download and install the most up-to-date drivers for your specific printer model.
Perform a Test Page: Print a test page to see if the issue persists. A test page displays information to make sure the printer hardware functions correctly.
- Make sure paper is loaded in the main tray, and then turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Power button, and then press the Cancel button
- Release the Cancel button, then the Power button.
- A test page prints.
Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can address bugs and improve overall printer performance.Click Here
Try Another Cartridge: If possible, try another compatible ink cartridge to see if the problem persists. This can help determine whether the issue is with the cartridge itself.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hi @nonosquare,
Thank you for your response, Looks like you have canceled the instant ink subscription.
May I know if are you using instant ink cartridges? It will not work with instant ink cartridges.
NOTE: Once you cancel the instant ink account you can use any genuine HP ink cartridges and the printer will work.
At first let's try the steps below.
Please try to disable the web services once. You may Click Here to check how to disable the web services.
Once done please try a network restore on the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the router.
- Turn off the printer.
- Turn off the mobile device/PC.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
- Turn on the printer.
- Turn on the mobile device/PC.
Could you please try these steps to connect the printer to the network (in case of dual-band routers, please use the 2.4 Ghz wireless connection for the printer): - Remove HP Smart App from your mobile device (if already installed).
- Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.
- Download and install HP Smart App on your mobile device from the app store.
- Open HP Smart App and follow the onscreen instructions on the screen to connect the printer to a wireless network.
If issue persists, Here are steps you can take to resolve the issue and use your printer without HP Instant Ink:
Check Cartridge Compatibility: Ensure that the cartridge you purchased locally is compatible with your specific HP printer model. Verify this information by checking the printer's manual or visiting the official HP website.
Reset the Printer: Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 1-2 minutes to allow the printer to fully power down. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes help in clearing error messages.
Update Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your printer. Visit the official HP support website, enter your printer model, and download and install any available firmware updates. Firmware updates can sometimes address compatibility issues. CLick Here
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
