Hi @Deanna3ddd,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP DeskJet 2755e All-In-One Printer indicates that it is "busy" and won't print, this can be due to several reasons.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to resolve this issue:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is turned on and not in sleep mode.
  • Check the printer’s display panel for any specific error messages.

Cancel All Print Jobs:

  • Go to the printer queue on your computer (Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-click your printer > See what's printing).
  • Cancel all documents in the queue.

Restart Printer and Computer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Restart your computer.
  • Plug in and turn on the printer again after a few minutes.

Advanced Troubleshooting Steps

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Install the updated drivers and restart your computer.

Check Printer Connectivity:

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to the computer or network (via USB, Wi-Fi, or Ethernet).
  • For wireless connections, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the printer and the wall outlet, and turn on the printer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool from the HP website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and resolve any issues.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Go to the HP Support website, enter your printer model, and check if there are any firmware updates available.
  • Follow the instructions to update the printer firmware. Update the firmware on an HP printer

Clear the Print Spooler:

  • Type "Services" in the Windows search bar and open the Services app.
  • Scroll down to "Print Spooler," right-click it, and select "Stop."
  • Navigate to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files in this folder.
  • Go back to the Services app, right-click "Print Spooler," and select "Start."

Check for Paper Jams and Ink Levels:

  • Make sure there are no paper jams in the printer.
  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink.
