Expired Certificate

I have Mac Sequoia, 15.4.1. 

I have gone to the Printer web page and then to Network, then to Security and then to Certificates. I have created a new self signed certificate and that expires in 2035. I have removed and reinstalled the printer, 3x's. I have restarted the computer. After reinstalling the printer all looks fine until I try to print and then it tells me a I have an expired certificate.

Resolved.  It just took a few hours and the printer started working after updating the certificate.

A few hours? Did you keep you printer connected to internet during that period?

I had this for two weeks, but it never disappeared. I went through all those more than 3x, and everytime when I tried to fix it I went through these whole process in evenings. It didn't work every time, so I turned the printer off before going to bed, and then turned it one again the second day, the alert stays.
