HP Photosmart Pro B9180
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I  purchased a used HP Photosmart Pro  B9180 off of Craigslist so I could start printing some of my graphic designs. I was told it was in fine working order, albeit an older model. Unfortunately, I have had some issues with the printer getting the color right. I'm not being nitpicky about color off by a couple degrees, it's printing what is supposed to be Orange more of a pink, and darker purples and blues come up as lighter, and much more faded.

I have done a LOT of troubleshooting, replaced ink,  cleaned printheads, made sure my designs were in the tolerance of CMYK color production, tested different color profiles etc. The last thing I can think would be an issue is to set up color calibration (you would think, right?). This initiates the closed loop calibration on my printer, and time after time again, it always ends with an "unsuccessful" message and nothing more. I have checked these forums and the rest of google, and I cannot find much in the way as to why it is unsuccessful. I would greatly appreciate some help or advice as how I can get that working, so I can know once and for all if this is the reason I can't get my color to show up properly. Thank you!
