HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer

First, my print jobs were stuck. did some troubleshooting and that led me to resetting the printer.

Now when I turn the printer back on, two things are happening:

  1. It's telling me that the cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink. This printer IS enrolled.
  2. Once I press hide, I am brought to an "Align the Printhead" screen - well, since I can't use the cartridges per my previous item, guess what happens when I hit continue? NOTHING. 
  3. I am on the "Printing the alignment page..." and nothing is happening. I've tried unplugging, left it overnight, and same loop again this AM.

You will have to contact HP and find out what the account problem is.

 

If you subscribed for instant ink then the printer needs to be online through the modem or router.

it can't tell that I have a subscription because it's not connected to the internet yet due to the reset - and I can't get to the screen where I connect it to the wifi. thoughts?
