Hi, since the latest firmware update the toner cartridges are not longer recognized and I cannot print. 
With other words HP has virtually stolen my printer. Aside the legal aspect, anybody here who can help me with this isssue..??

Hi Jay,

the display shows „material problem“ which is apparently related to the last firmware update.with disabling third party cartridges...

my printer is useless at the moment.

Let's try a complete reset on the printer

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

...it didn’t help. Printer is still not useable..!!

It is the latest firmware, causing this issue. 
I see two options:

1. downgrade firmware

2. new firmware which rectifies this illegal behavior
