HP Envy 6132e All-in-One Printer

Only had the printer 2 days, second day various printing jobs about 12 sheets A4 then it froze. Unable to use printer on/off switch so turned the power socket off. Anyone know what the problem is. Once power initiated again it worked as normal. Hope it's not an going issue.

Hi @Plumblast

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy 6132e may have experienced a temporary firmware or power-related glitch. Since the issue resolved after power cycling, it might not be a serious concern, but here are some steps to help prevent future occurrences:

Firmware Update:

  • Ensure your printer is running the latest firmware.
  • Go to HP Support → Search for "HP Envy 6132e" → Download & install the latest firmware.

Check Power Supply:

  • Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet, avoiding surge protectors or extension cords.
  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected.

Reset the Printer (If the Issue Persists):

  • Unplug the printer from power and wait 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
