Hi @SumerA126_,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP 2752e printer is making a grinding noise near the ink cartridge area, it might be due to an obstruction, misaligned cartridges, or a hardware issue. Here's how you can troubleshoot:
First, check for paper jams or obstructions. Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the front and back panels and look for any stuck paper or foreign objects, even tiny bits. Remove anything you find gently.
Next, reset the printer. Unplug it for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check the ink cartridge carriage by opening the ink cartridge access door. If the carriage is stuck, gently move it side to side when the printer is off. Remove and reinsert the cartridges properly.
Clean the cartridge path if there's dried ink or debris. Use a soft lint-free cloth dampened with distilled water to clean the cartridge contacts.
Update the firmware and drivers by going to HP Support and checking for updates for your printer model.
If the grinding continues, it might be a mechanical issue, like a faulty gear.
