HP 1005 MFP Laserjet Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The scanner of HP 1005 MFP Printer is scanning and giving dark lines on the right side of the paper.  Even while copying a document is giving dark lines on the right side of the A4 sheet.

 

BUT WHILE PRINTING A DOCUMENT FROM PC, THE PRINTING IS FINE AND ACCURATE. 

 

THE PROBLEM IS WITH COPYING AND SCANNING.

 

PLEASE ADVISE AN APPROPRIATE SOLUTION THIS PROBLEM.IMG_20210313_191810.jpg

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  1. try this solution - Step 2: Clean the scanner 
    Clean the scanner glass
    if the error is still present, then continue with 2)
  2. reset printer - Step 3: Reset the printer 
    * NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.
