I have an expired warranty HP 3830 printer. Will HP repair this for a fee? Out of Warranty NOV 2020. I also have an Instant Ink account. What are my options? Is the printer repairable or junk? Do I throw the printer away and close out my Instant Ink account? What HP printer does HP recommend I replace the HP 3830 with?  Should I stay with HP?  Does anyone ever get an answer from the HP community? is this a waste of my time?  Posted on June 4, 2024 at 5:20 PM MDT (US).

Repair

 

HP will not repair your printer -- As you say, the printer is well and truly out of warranty.

HP accepts in-Warranty Repair case submission requests.

DeskJet printers are not "repair at home" devices.
