I have HP 3830 all in one. Today got message that black ink needed replace. Installed new HP Instant Ink 62 black. A bit hard to fit but went without forcing. Immediate: one or more of cartridges has a problem. AFter x times reinstall, wrapped it up and opened a second HP Instant ink 62 Black, installed. Same message. Found article about cleaning gold contacts, cartridge and inside machine, did so.Same error message re "problem". Went online to check for different info, got field showing BOTH cartridges had "problem" and showing low ink levels despite brand new unused cartridges. End of printing for photo sorting project. Other printer older HP Envy 7640 is useless: makes horrible grinding sound after every print job and before some as well. And large old Photosmart is dead. Looks like maybe at point of finding better printers somewhere. All HP online print and virtual interactive support worthless. Anyone know what do besides take sledge hammer to both to make problem go away?
