I am using Avery's 5385 small Rolodex Cards, and printing them from MS Word.  I had to adjust the built in Word Template (increase the top border) so the content would be printed properly aligned.  When I print the page on paper, it is in proper alignment.  However, when I use the thin cardstock of the Avery Labels, the printing starts too early on the page, as if I haven't adjusted the top border.  One can hold the printed paper next to the printed cardstock, and see the difference is more than a quarter of an inch.

What the heck is going on?  Why should a file print one way on paper, but differently on thin card stock?  How am I to fix the problem?

Printer can't handle that paper you are printing on.

The product is labeled for Ink Jet printers, and a much older printer (110) printed successfully the cards I am now replacing.

Older printers are way better and can handle a lot of different media, new printers are very sensitive.in that way.
