Hi everyone!
I have a HP 6032 Printer giving Error 3 and forbidding me to use it.
So I did all the steps mentioned in the community (check if there is paper stuck - there is not), even replaced 1 cartridge, did the full reset (remove cable, remove cartridges, wait, restart) and it moved from ERROR 3 to ERROR 6.
Than I did similar steps to solve error 6. And it takes me back to ERROR 3. I have tried several times.
Any other suggestions availabe (besides buying a new printer)? Thanks!!!

Hi @saviogr,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with that. Here’s a step-by-step approach to try and resolve the issue.
Check for Paper Jams Again: Even though you’ve already checked, do a thorough inspection inside the printer. Look for any small pieces of paper or obstructions that might be causing the problem.
Check the Cartridges: Ensure that the cartridges are properly installed and that there is no protective tape or packaging left on them. Remove and reseat them to make sure they’re properly connected.
Clean the Printer:
- Printer Rollers: Dust or debris on the rollers can cause errors. Gently clean the rollers with a lint-free cloth.
- Cartridge Contacts: Wipe the contacts on both the cartridges and inside the printer with a clean, dry cloth to ensure they are free from any residue.
Reset the Printer:
- Hard Reset: Unplug the printer from the power source. Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.
Update Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes, updates can fix bugs or issues with error codes.
Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the paper size and type settings in the printer’s menu match the paper loaded in the tray.
Use HP Print and Scan Doctor: This is a free tool provided by HP that can help diagnose and resolve common printer issues. You can download it from the HP support website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
