Hi everyone.
After a year of not using it I tried to print with my HP 6950
Nothing. The print head cleaning procedure didn't work either.
Assuming that the ink had dried inside the head I tried cleaning it with isopropyl acohol.
Upon reassembly the display showed a print head error message.
I also tried replacing the head with a used one but the message continues to be there.
I would add that when I turn the printer on, a message "The printer was not turned off correctly" appears even if I turned il off with appropriate button.
Has anyone had the same problem?
Thanks for the replies.

Solved.
I reset the error in this way:
1) Open the printer cover and wait for the head to position itself in the center
2) Unplag the printer's power cord.
3) Take out all the ink cartridges.
4) Reconnect the printer power cord and turn it back on.
5) Reinsert the ink cartridges.
Printer working and the error reset.
