New printer 7900e error with paper loading. Have tried everything and just won't budge off this error. New paper, turning on and off.  2nd HP in 6 month with errors.

I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:

 

  • Check for paper jams - Open all doors and remove any stuck paper. (Refer this post to clear paper jams)
  • Reload paper correctly - Ensure paper is aligned and not too full.
  • Clean the rollers - Use a damp cloth to clean paper rollers inside the printer.
  • Reset the printer- Turn it off, unplug for 10 minutes, then turn it back on.
  • Check the paper feed sensor make sure it's not blocked or dirty.
  • Check for drivers/firmware updates on HP’s website.
