HP 803 INK Cartridges incompatible with HP 4523 Printer

HP Recommended
HP 4523
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

Hi

I have an HP 4523 ENVY printer bought in UK (year 2016) so out of warranty, the compatible cartridges mentioned on it are HP 302.

I have moved to India now and have bought recommended cartridges HP 803 for India region that are compatible with HP 4523. This has been mentioned on a HP Support page https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01766411

But HP 803 ink cartridges are not working, and giving me Incompatible Cartridges error.

How can I get it working? Please Advise.

Regards,

Amol

@amolz

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

We'll have to do a region reset for you to use this printer in India.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
