HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

Greetings!  My Office Jet 8710 stopped working this morning.  It powers on and shows the HP logo on the display.  Within a matter of seconds, the display goes dark and it appears to power down as the power button is unlit.  The "Home" "?" and back icons to the left of the display are lit.  The following steps have been completed as per the HP website:

  1. Plugged it into a wall outlet, then unplugged it for 60 seconds.
  2. Unplugged the power cable from the printer for 60 seconds.
  3. Pressed and held the power button for 15 seconds.

The results were the same after each of the three steps were completed: powers on, the HP logo appears on the display, the display goes dark and the power light goes off.  Additionally, the printer no longer appears in the HP Smart app.

The only change made to the printer in the past month was ink replacement.  I successfully printed several documents with the new ink.

Seeking this group's expertise to resolve this printer issue.

Thank you!

However, perform the steps from this document and see if that works.
