For the last week, my HP 8725 goes insane every so often, flashing every light plus the entire display screen. No jobs are waiting. Must power cycle to clear. What's up?

I found the solution for me was to return a setting to a previous value. I had set the sleep-after-XX minutes value to 5 but after resetting it to 15, all is well again. Since then, I have not experienced any trouble.

Mine goes to White screen, all other lights flashing and mine is on wired network. Ran latest diagnostics and fix app.

Windows 10 64 bit. Wireless network is in not connected status, I am using a wired network.

Did you get any answers on how to fix this problem?

Same problem here. Trying to run HP Print And Scan Doctor (the fact this application exists says a lot about the reliability of HP printers), but the app says that I need to run it as administrator. So I run it as admin, same message. It's a joke?

Since two weeks, I need to restart the printer each time I want to print something. 😡

I've made a backup of my settings, reset the printer to factory settings and then restore my saved settings. The problem seems to be gone.
