Hi @tgaffer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can truly imagine how disappointing it must feel when your beautiful greeting card project doesn’t print as expected, especially when you're trying to create something heartfelt and personal. Let’s gently walk through the steps to help your HP OfficeJet 9010 print double-sided greeting cards from Hallmark Card Studio smoothly.

Recommended Steps to Fix It

1. Complete Hallmark’s Double-Sided Printing Wizard

Hallmark Card Studio includes a Printing Two-Sided Projects Wizard that helps align the paper correctly. If this wizard hasn’t been completed or saved, it may not print all sides properly.

  • Open Hallmark Card Studio.
  • Select a card and click Print.
  • Choose Single-fold, 1 page.
  • Click Print Now.
  • Follow the wizard carefully and use plain paper to test.
  • Reinsert the paper as shown in the animation.
  • Confirm the print was successful to save the settings.

2. Enable Duplex Printing in HP Settings

Make sure your HP printer is set to print on both sides:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP OfficeJet 9010 > Printer Preferences.
  • Under the Finishing or Layout tab, enable Print on both sides.
  • Choose Flip on long edge for greeting cards.

3. Update Printer Drivers

Outdated drivers can cause miscommunication between Hallmark and your printer.

4. Clean Paper Path & Use Correct Media

Greeting cards often use thicker paper. Make sure:

  • You’re using cardstock within HP’s supported weight range.
  • The paper is loaded correctly in the tray.
  • The rollers are clean to avoid misfeeds.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
