HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-in-One Printer

HP 2015se printer stopped printing.  I have done all the common things, power on and off and on again, reloaded drivers, I have run HP troubleshooting, all to no avail.

Hi @JEStark,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I can imagine how frustrating it must be when your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 suddenly stops printing, especially after you've already tried the usual steps. You're not alone in this, and I'm here to help you get it working again.

  1. Check Ink Levels and Cartridges
    • Make sure you're using genuine HP ink cartridges.
    • Remove and reinsert the cartridges to ensure proper contact.
    • If any cartridge is low or empty, replace it.

  2. Run the HP Print Quality Diagnostic
    • On the printer’s touchscreen, go to Settings > Reports > Print Quality Report.
    • This will help identify if there's a printhead or ink issue.

  3. Clean the Printhead
    • Navigate to Settings > Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to run this multiple times.

  4. Check Paper Settings
    • Ensure the paper type and size match the settings in the print job.
    • Use clean, wrinkle-free paper and load it correctly.

  5. Update Firmware and Drivers
  6. Use the HP Smart App’s Diagnose & Fix Tool
    • Download the HP Smart app and use the Diagnose & Fix feature under Support.

  7. Reset the Printer
    • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I have done all this.  I can print using the HPPrint option in the Windows 11 apps printer drop down menu, but I cannot print from Word Excell, etc by selecting the HP9025 printer directly.  That icon is greyed out and it gives me a "Windows cannot access this printer" even though the printer is on line and it is the same  setup I have used for several years.

Do you have anything else for me?
