Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

Printer is frequently off-line for no apparent reason and is very difficult to restart from one day to the next.  It worked fine this morning.  Suddenly not working this afternoon.  I have shut it down, unplugged it, turned off my laptop (then back on), etc.  I have done this several times to no avail.  Why does the printer suddenly go off-line and how do I get it to restart?  Thank you.

If you are using in a network environment and are using a WSD port on the print driver you will often find that the printer will drop off and not recover until you restart everything. This is a Microsoft issue, the work around is to configure the driver to use a Standard TCP/IP port for communication.
