I am reaching out for assistance regarding my HP Color Laser MFP 178nw printer, which has been experiencing significant print quality issues over the past few weeks.

Issues Observed:

1. Text Fading and Light Printing:

   • The text on printed documents appears faded and light in multiple areas, making it difficult to read.
   • There is inconsistency in print density, with some sections appearing much lighter than others.

2. Blurry and Smudged Text:

   • The printed text is noticeably blurry, particularly in the lower half of the page.
   • Ink smudging is present, contributing to the unclear text.

3. Misalignment:

   • The text seems misaligned.

4. Inconsistent Print Quality:

   • Visible bands or streaks are appearing across the documents (issues with the toner or drum unit?).

I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions from the community on how to address these issues. If further diagnostics or specific maintenance procedures are recommended, please provide detailed instructions.
