Brand new HP DeskJet 2080e stops printing after about 4 pages and then starts from the beginning again. Never finishes a run of printing.

Hi @BeeJay25,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP DeskJet 2080e is restarting the print job after about four pages and never completes the full print run, try the following troubleshooting steps:

Step 1: Restarting:

  • Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord for a few seconds, and then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Computer: Restart your computer.

Step 2. Clearing the Print Queue:

Windows:

  • Go to Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your printer and select "What's printing."
  • Click "Printer" > "Pause Printing" and then "Resume Printing".
  • Alternatively, stop the Print Spooler service, delete files in the C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS folder, and restart the service.

 macOS:

  • Open the "Print & Scan" pane in System Preferences.
  • Select your printer and click "Pause Printing" and then "Resume Printing".

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
