HP DeskJet 3755 All-in-One Printer

I've had my printer - DeskJet 3755 - for a while (maybe a year) but have only used it a few times. A couple months ago I tried to print something and the text for the whole page printed very light, almost gray, instead of a bold black, and in certain areas the text was almost non-existent with weird lines through it, like the ink was running out or like there was something covering part of the the ink dispenser. The ink cartridges are completely full. Now today I tried to print again and there is absolutely no text whatsoever on the page and all that appears are the checkboxes from the page I'm trying to print. Again, they are very faint, and there is no sign of text anywhere. Any suggestions? [content removed]

Welcome to the HP Support Community

 

I understand you are facing a print quality issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

 

To assist better:

 

  • Are you using genuine HP ink cartridges?
  • Does the copy print out the same way? 
  • What's the application you are trying to print from? 
  • Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable to your printer -  Print Quality Issues

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
