HP Deskjet 2630 not recognizing 302 xl catridge

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I bought the 302 xl black cartridge for my HP Deskjet 2630 which is not being recognised even though it is a genuine cartridge. Please advise. I have a good mind just to get a laser printer that takes toner because of the cost of replacement inkjet cartridges.

 

Does anyone have a similar experience or a suggestion?

@sastheman, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

HP Deskjet 2630 uses HP 304 ink cartridges and not HP 302. Refer to the table below:

Kindly replace it with a HP 304 ink cartridge to resolve this issue.
