This is a relatively new printer and doesn’t get used often. I replaced with cartridges his genuine hp instant ink cartridges and am getting e3 error on the screen. I have taken whole thing apart, there are no obstructions. Tried all types of resets and still getting the error. Please help!

ink carriage stall means the printhead won't move when told to

 

Check for obstructions in the carriage pathOpen the cartridge access door to get to the carriage inside the printer. Make sure the carriage is not obstructed by gently sliding the carriage side to side. Look for and remove any obstructions in the carriage path, such as crumpled paper or dislodged labels.

 

If there is no obstruction then the control circuitry is bad.
