I changed the cartridges, color and black. I bought them at  an  authorized dealer, a famous store. The printer worked well, made several prints but two days after an error appeared on the display. The printer displayed ERROR CODE 0x83c0000a. I disconnected the printer, waited for 10 minutes, connected again and now it doesn't turns on. Is there a solution on how to turn it on and then follow the steps to have it fixed?

I understand you are getting the ERROR CODE 0x83c0000a on your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 e-All-in-One Printer typically indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Given that your printer is not turning on after trying to reset it, 

here are several steps you can follow to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:


Basic Troubleshooting Steps

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure that the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Try plugging the printer into a different outlet to rule out any issues with the current outlet.
  • If possible, test the power cord with another compatible printer to see if it’s functioning.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the wall outlet.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and attempt to power it on.

Check for Overheating:

  • Ensure that the printer is in a well-ventilated area and not overheating.
  • Let it cool down for a while if it feels warm to the touch.

Inspect for Paper Jams:

  • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or foreign objects inside that could be causing a blockage.

Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • If you manage to turn the printer on, check for any firmware updates that might resolve the error:
    • Connect the printer to your Mac via USB or Wi-Fi.
    • Open the HP Smart app or go to the HP Software & Drivers page and check for available updates.
