After printing a document successfully on my HP LaserJet 1220C printer, the printer then flashes the yellow light and prints the following, multiple times.  I have Windows 11, 64 bit.

Hi @Jim_Lansing,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Driver Update: Ensure that the printer driver is updated and compatible with Windows 11. Visit the HP Support website and download the latest driver software for your printer model.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can reset the printer's internal logic.

Check Printer Queue:

  • Open the Print Queue on your computer by searching for "Devices and Printers" in the start menu.
  • Ensure there are no pending documents stuck in the queue that might keep sending repetitive commands to the printer.

Printer Settings:

  • Check your printer settings to ensure there are no incorrect configurations or print test pages queued.
  • Reconfigure any automatic settings that cause repetitive messages.

Firmware Update: Sometimes updating the firmware of the printer can resolve printing issues. Check the HP Support page for any firmware updates available for your printer model.

Connectivity Issues:

  • If you are using a USB connection, ensure that the cable is securely connected.
  • For a network connection, verify that there is stable network connectivity.

I hope this helps.
