HP Recommended
Product: HP ENVY 4500
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

My printer will not print margins correctly.

 

The borders are in a PDF file and are 15mm all round.

 

I have tried borderless, scaling different settings and I have run out of options.

 

The borders are in turn printed at 20mm or 10mm never at 15mm.

 

There are also boxes on the page which need to be at the stated size but these are scaled as well.

 

Just in case the PDF file was at fault I disconnected the HP and connected a Canon printer clicked print and the page came out perfect.

 

Since then I have tried Smart which hangs, Easystart and easy admin with no change whatsoever.

 

Is this something basically wrong with the HP printer?
