ENVY 5032
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP ENVY 5032 printer and sometimes it will start printing but then halfway through it just stops. After about 30 seconds, it will spit the paper back out with half of it printed and then my laptop states it's in error mode. When I go into the app to check, it has a green tick saying everything is ok. This has happened a few times over a couple of weeks now and it's getting frustrating as it's wasting paper so I'm having to buy more just in case it happens again.

I'd like to help!

 

To better assist you - 

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

3) What is the paper type and size you are using?

 

While you respond to that, Try a power reset on the printer

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
