HP ENVY 6020e All-in-One Printer

Hi,

My Envy 6020e printer has a pulsing blue/ green light. When I press the touchpad & power button and wifi button at the back, nothing happened. On HP smart app, status is ready to print and Connectivity is not connected and indicate the printer is offline. Now I press every button there is and nothing happened. Please Help

Hi @b2cannotprint,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your HP Envy 6020e printer is experiencing connectivity issues and is not responding to button presses. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your Wi-Fi network. You can do this by accessing the printer's menu and navigating to the Wi-Fi settings. Make sure it's connected to the correct network and that the signal strength is good.
  • Restart Printer and Router: Sometimes, simply restarting both the printer and your Wi-Fi router can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's menu or via the HP Smart app.
  • Reset Network Settings: If the printer is still not connecting, you can try resetting its network settings. This will remove any saved network configurations, and you'll need to reconnect it to your Wi-Fi network again.
  • Check HP Smart App Settings: Ensure that the HP Smart app settings are configured correctly. Make sure the app has permission to access your printer and that it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the connectivity issues with your HP Envy 6020e printer.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
