Hi @BCBH53

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

1. Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

2. Check Power Connection:

  • Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the printer and the wall outlet.
  • If possible, try a different power outlet.

3. Inspect for Hardware Issues:

  • Look for any jammed paper or foreign objects in the printer.
  • Make sure there are no error lights or sounds coming from the printer that could indicate a hardware issue.

4. Update Firmware:

  • If the printer turns on after the hard reset but remains unresponsive, check if there's a firmware update available. This usually requires a computer connected to the printer.
  • Visit the HP Support website and search for the latest firmware for your model.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
