HP Envy 4520 will not print black ink (only for Print Quality Diagnostic)

My HP Envy 4250 will not print black ink. I've gone through all of the resets/changed ink cartridges/etc.

The only time I can get it to print black ink is when I print the 'Print Quality Diagnostic' sheet. On that form, the black ink looks great - no smearing or streaking.

Help, please.

If you have already performed the steps from the document  Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
