Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

HP Envy 5600 picking up A6 cardstock but then getting jammed...printer continues "printing"

 

I'm loading the paper one card at a time.  Set the settings to print on A6 heavy Brochure paper.

 

Printer initially picks up card but then gets stuck at the turning point.  The printer continues running through the printings, but nothing feeds out.  Then it notifies me that there is a jam.  I've tried cleaning the gripping wheels...it's 110 lb cover weight.

@MARJEUX, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

According to the printer specifications, this model printer supports A6 media. However, the media weight supported is 16 to 72 lb bond. Kindly refer to the paper-handling mentioned on the specifications page.

 

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest firmware from your MAC.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

 

Also, check for any software updates on MAC

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

 

Make sure the media is correctly loaded in the input tray.
