Exactly the same problem as loads of other people.  Why is this issue marked as solved when it clearly isn't?!  Why hasn't anyone from HP interjected with an answer for this issue?!

 

I actually like the print quality and the fact that it doesn't devour loads of ink, but surely in 2024 we should not be seeing these sorts of simple connectivity issues?

I understand you are facing printer connectivity issues, especially with models as recent as the HP ENVY 6000 series.

 

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that might help:

 

  • Check Printer Status: Ensure that the printer is powered on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. Sometimes the connection can be lost, and simply reconnecting to the network can resolve the issue.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Updating the drivers can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
  • HP Smart App: Make sure you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed. Sometimes the app needs to be updated to resolve connectivity issues.
  • Network Settings: Restart your router and check the printer’s network settings. You might need to reconfigure the printer’s connection to your Wi-Fi network.
  • Printer Firmware: Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity problems. Update the firmware on an HP printer
  • Windows Update: Ensure that your Windows 11 is fully updated, as sometimes updates can fix compatibility issues with devices.
