Not printing true colours. Cleaned heads. Slight improvement but colours still dark - not vibrant.

TIA

@BanditPie, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy 6032 that does not print in color!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Thanks for giving that a shot! Let’s go through a few more steps to get your HP ENVY 6032 printing vibrant colors again.

Check Ink Levels

Even if the cartridges aren't empty, low ink can affect color accuracy. You can check ink levels from the HP Smart app or your printer’s control panel. If they're low, replacing them might help.

Run a Second Cleaning Cycle

Since you noticed some improvement after cleaning the printheads, running another cleaning cycle might further enhance the output. You can do this from your printer settings under Printer Maintenance > Clean Printhead.

Align the Printhead

Misalignment can also affect color accuracy. Try running the Align Printhead option from the printer's settings.

Check Print Settings

Make sure you're using the right paper type and print quality:

In the HP Smart app or printer properties, select Best quality instead of Normal.

Choose the correct paper type (e.g., "Photo Paper" for glossy prints).

If printing from an app, check the Color Management settings—some software may have its own color settings that override the printer’s.

Update Printer Firmware and Drivers

Outdated software can sometimes cause color issues. Visit HP support page to check for the latest firmware and driver updates for your printer.

If you’ve tried all this and the issue persists, let me know!

Looking forward to your update! 😊

Take care, and have an amazing day!
