Hi @Bob_L6,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Constant flashing lights on your HP Envy 6052e printer typically indicate an error that needs to be resolved. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and fix the issue.

Check for Error Messages:

  • Look at the printer's control panel or display screen for any error messages or codes. These messages can give you specific information about what might be wrong.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and have sufficient ink. Remove and reseat the cartridges to ensure they are correctly positioned.

Paper Jams:

  • Check for any paper jams inside the printer. Open all accessible areas (input tray, output tray, inside the printer) and carefully remove any jammed paper.

Printer Connections:

  • Ensure all cables and connections are secure. Check the power cord, USB cable, or network connection.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and power it on.

Update Firmware:

  • Make sure your printer firmware is up to date. You can check for updates via the HP Smart app or the HP website.

Printer Diagnostics:

  • Use the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix common issues. Download it from the HP support website.

Factory Reset:

  • As a last resort, you can try a factory reset. Be aware that this will restore the printer to its original settings. You can usually find this option in the printer's settings menu under "Restore Defaults" or a similar option.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, there might be a more serious hardware problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
