My 7155 printer is stuck on the start up screen. The blue is filled up, only the first blue dot is filled in. I have tried powering on and off, unplugging for 5 minutes and plugging back in, unplugging for 24 hours and plugging back in, and holding the power button while unplugged and when plugging back in. How can I resolve this?

Hi @DThomas76

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

It sounds like your HP Envy 7155 is stuck during the startup process. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on. Check if the startup screen progresses.

Inspect for Hardware Issues:

  • Open the printer and check for any obstructions or loose components.
  • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed and there are no paper jams.

Update Firmware:

  • If the printer starts up, visit the HP Support website to check for firmware updates for your printer model.

Factory Reset:

  • If the printer remains stuck, you may need to perform a factory reset. This process often requires accessing the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) by entering its IP address in a web browser. If you can't access the EWS, contact HP support for assistance.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
