HP Envy 7640 Error

HP Recommended
HP Envy 7640

My Printer flashes a blue screen with a picture of a power button and the code : C4EB827F below it.  I have had no luck with trying a hard reset and not having luck finding any other remedies....is this printer dead?

@KOB333

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Step 1 Hard Reset -

1) Take out the cartridges.
2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.
3) Wait for 30 seconds.
4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not to a surge protector.
5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Step 2 Update the printer's firmware -
Please refer to "Download firmware updates from the HP website" from this link

Here's the download link for the firmware update.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
