My Envy printer does not print. I tried to clean the cartridges but it gave an error message that it is busy. Also tried to clean the printer it also saying that it is busy. Therefore, I bought a new pack of 64 tri-color and black cartridge swapped out the black cartridge still not printing. Uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it. Already have the latest version of the firmware installed. Cleaned the printer connector. Read somewhere that the printer can still print with one cartridge. The color cartridge did not print anything. When I get the status of the cartridges, it is saying that the black cartridge is empty. Tried to print something and I get blank pages.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

This seems to be a hardware issue.

I request you to talk to HP's support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I followed your instructions and went to URL . I entered my printer's serial number but I did not see a "Show Options" on the page.  I did not see a form to fill in to get a case number and phone number.
