Hi @SO62WEO,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the error code B80B746C on HP printers generally points to a hardware-related issue. Flashing lights and the inability to power off can indicate a deeper problem that may need a manual reset or service.

Here’s what you can try:

Hard Reset the Printer:

  • Disconnect the printer's power cable from the wall outlet (leave it connected to the printer).
  • Wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Press and hold the Power button on the printer for around 15 seconds to discharge any residual charge.
  • Reconnect the printer to the power outlet and try to turn it back on.

Firmware Update (if accessible): Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • If you manage to get the printer operational again, update the firmware. Firmware updates can address specific error codes and improve printer stability.
  • You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or HP Support website under your printer’s model.

Check for Physical Obstructions:

  • Open any accessible doors and compartments and check for any jammed paper or loose components that might be triggering the error.

Refer to this document:  HP ENVY Inspire 7924e All-in-One Printer User manual

HP DeskJet, ENVY 6000, 6400 - Blinking lights and error codes

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
