HP Envy Photo 7855 suddenly won't print two-sided copies

HP Recommended
Example: HP Envy Photo 7855
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy Photo 7855 suddenly stopped printing on the second side, even though I choose two-sided printing. Just to let you know, I had to remove the printer and reinstall it a couple of weeks ago because it wouldn't scan. Now it scans to make pdfs, but it won't print on a second side. How do I make the printer print on two sides?

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing  on both sides and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

Thank you for your reply. I ran the specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility you sent me. Then I restarted the computer and printed a document from Microsoft Word. The document didn't print two-sided. I got two pages.

I couldn't find the "newly added print queue copy (Copy 1) to check to see if I could print two-sided copies from it. Where is it?
