It sounds frustrating to have your printer stuck in offline mode despite resolving the payment issue with HP Instant Ink. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot this problem.

 

  • Restart Printer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, make sure it's connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and that the signal is strong.
  • Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix bugs and improve performance.
  • Reset Printer: If restarting doesn't work, try resetting your printer to its factory settings. Refer to the user manual or the HP website for instructions on how to do this.
  • Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the printer software from your computer and then reinstall it. Make sure you download the latest drivers and software from the HP website.
