Hi @RAFIQ10,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with your HP LaserJet Pro 400 M401dn printer where it's not printing, and the screen displays "Printing" but nothing happens. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Connections: Ensure that all cables connecting the printer to your computer or network are securely plugged in. Also, verify that the power cable is properly connected to both the printer and the power source.
  • Restart the Printer: Sometimes, simply turning the printer off and then back on again can resolve temporary issues. Try turning off the printer, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a minute or two, and then plugging it back in and turning it on.
  • Check Toner/Ink Levels: Make sure that the toner or ink cartridges in your printer have sufficient levels. If they are low or empty, replace them with new cartridges.
  • Paper Jam: Check for any paper jams inside the printer. Even a small piece of paper stuck in the printer can cause printing issues. Open the printer cover and carefully remove any jammed paper.
  • Printer Queue: Check the print queue on your computer to see if there are any stuck print jobs. Sometimes, clearing the print queue and then trying to print again can resolve the issue.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed for your printer. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website and install them on your computer.
  • Reset Printer: Try performing a factory reset on your printer to restore it to its default settings. Refer to the printer's user manual for instructions on how to reset it.
  • Network Connection: If your printer is connected to a network, make sure that it is properly connected and configured to communicate with your computer or devices on the network.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
