HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

In Oct. 2025 "double-sided" printing stopped and blank sheets started printing between jobs. When MS announced "no longer supporting Office 16, etc.) in October, all ".mml" (emails. etc.) and all Office doc (ex. MS Word) printing stopped; any attempt resulted in "Enter Fax Recipient number" msg (tried good fax number, but that did not function). Ran all HP delete/reinstall driver/SW directions; all fail. ALSO, this all occurred when I declined the HP Extended Printer warranty.

Throughout all "HP test page print" requests work each time, and all files (.mml, .doc, etc.)  converted to .TXT files go to printer with no formatting.

MS or HP backstab?

Hi @DCapp,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with your HP printer where the double-sided (duplex) printing function has stopped, and it is printing blank sheets between jobs, consider the following troubleshooting tips:

Ensure Duplex is Enabled: Double-check that the duplex printing option is still enabled in your printer settings. Sometimes software updates or changes can reset these settings.

Printer Driver: Update your printer driver to the latest version, as outdated drivers can cause functionality issues.

Check Print Queue: Clear any stalled print jobs from your print queue, as they might be affecting new print tasks.

Inspect Media Settings: Ensure the correct media type and size are set in the print dialog. Incorrect settings might cause printing irregularities.

Check for Paper Jams: Inspect the paper path for any physical obstructions or jams. Often, leftover paper scraps can interfere with printing processes.

Reset Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it for a minute, and then plug it back in. This can resolve minor glitches.

Software Glitches: Restart your computer or troubleshooting software that might be affecting how your printer processes tasks.

Maintenance: Check your printer’s maintenance settings and perform necessary cleaning or aligning functions, as this can affect print output quality.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a blissful day 😇.
