I want to make sure I am not missing something here.

If I send a FAX from my PC using the FAX Software and the FAX does not get answered, it keeps on trying to resend.

I am unable to control (Cancel) from the PC as it indicates the job is now on the FAX.

I was also unable to cancel from the device control panel (no job found), but it still keeps trying to send.

I can find, in the config, the ability to not resend if no answer, but was ideally looking to set a number of retries.

My user reports that the job also continued after power off\on, but after a second power cycle the job appeared to stop, though not sure if it hit a hard retry number (about 6 times).

How can I most easily terminate a job.

Is there a number of rings after this will stop trying.

It's also a bit annoying that I get a print for EVERY fail, one at the end of what ever process is sufficient.

Thank you

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

If you have already performed the steps from the document Resolve fax problems and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
