I did open the manual and reviewed the troubleshooting.  I just downloaded the HP Repair Doctor program.  It says all is well with my printer.  But would not print a test page.  When I print a status page, it says my printer is in error state.  Amber status is still solid.  When unplugging and reconnecting, the status light goes blue, then almost immediately turns solid amber.

according to the manual the solid amber indicates an error but the manual does not state what the flashing info button means. How old is the printer? If you are under warranty I suggest you go to support.hp.com and take advantage of the warranty you have on the printer. If not under warranty, hopefully someone else will see this post and have experience with this model and be able to help.
