Hello,
 I configured a new printer for a customer, HP LaserJet M110w.
The problem encountered is during daily use, as prints are made, the printer takes longer and longer to start them.
Additional information: 1- The printer is connected via USB. 2 - The laptop is new, updated to the latest version of windows 11. 3- It was initialized on the same day as the printer, so it's a clean system. 4- The printer drivers and firmware are the latest available from the hp website. 5- The print queue during these delays is already clean as if the system had correctly forwarded all the necessary data to the printer.

The HP software (HP App, HP Smart, HP Printer-Software) must be completely uninstalled and removed of the system.

Before you begin, here is some important information that should be read (only) :

  1. Set up your printer for a USB connection on a Windows computer 
  2. Video: How to Connect a USB ... 
  3. User Guide 
  4. Descriptions of buttons, error codes, and light patterns 
  5. Restore your printer to the default factory settings 
    In case everything goes wrong.

 

Here's what you need to do:

  1. Disconnect printer/scanner from computer- Disable WLAN, WiFi and remove the USB or LAN cable.- Do not switch off the printer >> unplug the power cord from the socket!
  2. Uninstall HP printer software, and then remove the printer from your Devices list. 
  3. Restart the PC
  4. Close all programs
  5. download only this complete package: HP LaserJet M110w EasyStart Printer Setup Software - Offline Use Only (no Internet) in the “Download” folder!
  6. Reconnect the printer to the power supply and switch it on (if this does not happen automatically)
  7. Please note: WLAN has to be deactivated!
  8. Close all programs
  9. Note: Do not connect the USB cable until prompted by the installer.
  10. Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo > in folder Downloads double-click on the EXE
  11. The installation was completed successfully, now you must ...
  12. Restart the System again
  13. Now the installation is complete.

Document error messages accurately, even better is to take a screenshot of it and upload here.
